A notice to all my patients regarding healthcare issues that may arise during the coronavirus epidemic.
Being aware of the extreme burden being placed on the healthcare system now and in the near future and also being aware of the likely need for primary care doctors to close their offices, I have decided to make myself available to my patients via tele-medical concierge medical consultations. During this period, patients requiring medical consultations may contact me through my nurse Nancy Delaune, RN and arrange for a FaceTime consultation.
The consultation may cover medical issues related to the anti-aging hormone replacement practice or any other general medical issues that you believe may require treatment. All follow up visits related to the hormone replacement program and general medical issues will be offered via FaceTime telemedicine. Depending on complexity, fee for service will range from $100-$250.
If the office is open you may call the main office line at 713-807-1000. If the office is closed please call 713-303-3663.
Notice to all our patients:
We have noticed that many of our wellness patients are calling with questions and issues related to the health of their family members and friends. Apparently many people are having trouble getting medical attention from their usual sources. Due to this Dr. LeConey has decided to expand his concierge service via FaceTime to include not only our patients, but also their families, friends and others. Dr. LeConey has been a board-certified emergency physician for over 30 years.
The first point of contact can be reached by calling on our main telephone line 713 807 1000. Following this initial contact a conversation via FaceTime/phone with Dr. LeConey can be conducted during which information can be collected including a general history of the problem, other information if available such as temperature, blood pressure etc. And visual inspection if needed. Using this information Dr. LeConey could prescribe medications, order other tests such as lab and or x-ray to be performed at local imaging or lab centers. And also arrange for specialist consultation If needed. And of course if serious issues are suspected referral to the emergency room can be arranged. This of course could be expedited by Dr. LeConey calling the emergency room ahead of your arrival.
